Empowering Minds:

The legacy of READ Educational Trust

Founded in 1979, READ led literacy advocacy efforts and interventions to address low literacy levels in South Africa, targeting learners and teachers from under-resourced schools. READ’s contribution, footprint, and legacy in the literacy and education sectors are indisputable.
